    Type the model — or better, the code printed on the PCB (LA-, DA0, 820-…).

  2. Match the revision

    Compare board number and revision. Schematic = how it works, boardview = where things are.

  3. Download free

Hi, I'm Torry's Delphi. For more than ten years I've been writing software that collects and organises data — scrapers, catalogues, automation pipelines. Repair documentation turned out to be the perfect mess to clean up.

The files listed here were collected by the community in the Telegram channel @schematicslaptop, plus a Google Drive archive. I wrote a parser that reads every file name, recognises the brand, the ODM manufacturer (Compal, Quanta, Wistron…) and the board number, and turns it into pages you can search and browse.

Next to the catalogue I keep a small set of practical notes on electronics and PCB work — KiCad libraries, moving designs from Eagle, making prototype boards at home, LCDs and EEPROMs. If something is sorted wrong or a note is unclear, write to me and I'll fix it.

FAQ

Are the schematics and boardviews free to download?
Yes. Every file is either published in a public Telegram channel or stored in a public Google Drive folder. Open the file page and use the download button — Drive links need no account, Telegram needs a free one.
What's the difference between a schematic and a boardview?
A schematic (usually a PDF) is the electrical diagram: what is connected to what and how power flows. A boardview is a map of the physical board — where each part and test point sits. For repair you normally want both. Full explanation.
How do I find my motherboard number?
It's printed on the PCB: Compal boards say LA-xxxxP, Quanta boards DA0xxxMBxxx, Inventec 6050Axxxxxxx, Apple 820-xxxxx. Searching by board number is far more accurate than by laptop model. Where to look.
Which program opens .brd, .bdv, .fz or .tvw files?
OpenBoardView (free) opens most formats: BRD, BDV, BV, FZ, ASC and others. FlexBV (paid) opens almost everything, including TVW. Formats and programs compared.
Do you also cover PCB design and hobby electronics?

A file I need is missing. What can I do?
Search by the board number rather than the model — the same board is often used in several laptops, even from different brands. If it's still not there, ask in the Telegram channel; the library is rebuilt when new files are posted.
