This topic aims to provide the tools made by me (and by employees who are willing to help spread this great tool - Kicad)
The package Kicad (27/10/2005) already behind included two tools developed by third parties (also free) to help its users:
- Wings3D - Editor of 3D objects can be exported in VRML format (. Wrl) used by Kicad in 3D visualization of pcb and components (in this case, used to build 3D components, nothing prevents the adventurers to make other types of objects, perhaps a "case"!). DTip 1: try following the tutorial software that also comes along in PDF format, if you make the "doghouse" is not very difficult - read carefully! - Can make the components you want, just practice!).
- orc2eeschema + liborcad2eeschema - Converters for Orcad Kicad (see the files .txt explaining to use and its functions / objectives).
- In the group of registered Kicad users already released a "script" for users of the Eagle (r) of the same libraries to convert the Kicad (after contact, and if allowed by the author, will be available here too!).
